Discover how to shift your mindset, honor your emotions, and choose relentless happiness in every moment—no matter the circumstances.
Welcome back, dear one. If you’ve been struggling to find joy or wondering when your happiness will finally arrive, I invite you to take a breath and lean into this powerful truth: happiness is a mindset. It isn’t reserved for perfect moments or the distant future. It’s something you can choose, cultivate, and embody—even in the mess, the mundane, or the middle of a storm.
In this blog post, we’ll explore how to build a resilient mindset, embrace your emotions, and live in a way that honors your truth and aligns you with relentless happiness—one intentional moment at a time.
Many of us give up on happiness before we ever begin. Why? Because we underestimate the power of our mindset. We think joy is circumstantial. We tell ourselves, “I’ll be happy when...” But in truth, the foundation of happiness isn’t what happens outside of us—it’s what happens within us.
To thrive in life—whether you’re pursuing a dream, nurturing relationships, raising children, or building a career—you need two powerful qualities:
When these qualities are present, you develop a mindset that’s equipped to weather any storm. That, my dear, is the beginning of relentless happiness.
We often try to “manage” happiness by waiting for ideal conditions or suppressing uncomfortable emotions. But happiness is not a finish line. It’s a choice you make in the now. That means giving yourself permission to:
I dare you:
When you stop lying to yourself about how you feel—and instead notice and honor those emotions—you shift from self-betrayal to self-alignment. And alignment is the birthplace of lasting joy.
Let’s be clear: choosing happiness doesn’t mean denying reality or pretending that everything is perfect. It means recognizing that even in chaos, you have the power to choose your mindset.
We tend to say things like:
But when we constantly delay our happiness, we place it just out of reach—always ahead of us, never in the now.
Instead, start by saying:
No matter what season you're in—whether it's chaotic and busy or quiet and uneventful—you can still choose happiness:
Happiness isn't something we find “out there.” It lives in the present, and it thrives when we choose it intentionally.
If you’ve ever dusted your home (or avoided it—we see you), you know that once you start looking, you’ll always find some. Happiness works the same way.
If you go looking for negativity, you’ll find it.
If you go looking for joy, you’ll find that too.
So choose to:
Be relentless in your pursuit of joy. Treat it like a muscle—something you strengthen with daily practice, not something you wait for passively.
Suppressing emotions doesn’t protect us—it isolates us. When you deny your feelings, you don’t dissolve them. You bury them deep, where they eventually bubble over in destructive ways.
The healthiest thing you can do is name and notice your emotions:
Let those feelings rise and fall like waves. They won’t stay forever. But they will pass more peacefully if you stop resisting them.
Think of your emotions like a bottle of soda. If you shake it and try to hold all that pressure inside, it eventually explodes. But if you slowly let out the pressure, you release it safely.
Give yourself the space to express, release, and reset.
Pause and ask yourself: What’s keeping me from embracing happiness right now?
Maybe you believe:
These beliefs are just stories—ones you can rewrite. If you can name the belief that’s keeping you stuck, you can challenge it and shift your mindset.
You do have permission to be happy. You are worthy of joy—not because of what you do, but simply because of who you are.
Let’s borrow a metaphor from the football field. When athletes step onto the field, they don’t just show up hoping for a win—they come prepared. They’ve trained mentally, emotionally, and physically.
But more importantly, the most successful athletes:
You can do the same when it comes to happiness. Ask yourself:
This full-body visualization activates your inner drive and aligns your energy with what you want. It doesn’t deny the hard stuff—but it refuses to let difficulty derail your joy.
My dear, this is your reminder:
You are not broken.
You are not behind.
You are not disqualified from happiness.
You are worthy of joy—not because of your achievements, but because of your existence.
“You are fearfully and wonderfully made by the hands of a good, good God.”
That truth alone is your invitation to show up fully in this life, to feel all the feels, and to choose happiness even when it feels countercultural.
Here’s a quick summary of the key mindset shifts and practices:
I dare you to live with relentless joy.
I dare you to stop waiting for happiness and start creating it—moment by moment.
I dare you to show up with mental clarity, emotional truth, and spiritual courage.
Because your joy matters.
Because you matter.
Relentless happiness isn’t about faking it or ignoring pain. It’s about choosing joy in the presence of pain. It’s about honoring your emotions while holding onto hope. And it’s about daring—every single day—to be better, bolder, and more beautifully aligned with your true self.
So go ahead, my dear:
And above all, keep choosing joy.
